How to integrate your forms with other apps using Zapier



You do not need to do extra settings on your forms. We provide our plugin, CloudForm, on Zapier.

You just need to setup the integration in your Zapier account. To get the submission data and pass the data to another app, login to your Zapier account, and create the integration.

  1. Login to your Zapier account.
  2. Click Zaps folder.
  3. Click the Create button and choose 'New Zap'.
  4. Search for CloudForm and click the CloudForm menu.
  5. On the Event, choose 'New Submitted Form' and click Continue.
  6. On the CloudForm account, choose an account and click the 'Connect a new account' button.
  7. Our CloudForm plugin uses Zapof account. Enter your Zapof username and password, and click the 'Sign In' button.
  8. Click the Continue button.
  9. To test the trigger, you need at least one submitted form in your Zapof Forms account for the trigger to load the submission data. If you just created the form and you don’t have any submission, submit a test data on your form. Click the 'Test trigger' button, it shows the recent submitted form.

    The trigger pulls the id, title, first name, last name, and email. This trigger also pulls the submission data which we are going to use to email the person who submits the form.
  10. Click the Continue button.
  11. In this example, we want to send an email using Gmail to the person who submits the form.
  12. Search for Gmail and click the Gmail menu.
  13. On the Event, choose 'Send Email' and click Continue.
  14. On the Gmail account, choose an account and click the 'Connect a new account' button.
  15. Enter your Gmail username and password, and click the 'Sign In' button.
  16. Click the Continue button.
  17. Click the To input field, and choose New Submitted Form in Cloud Form. Click show all options and choose email.
  18. Choose your Gmail account in step 20 for the 'From' field.
  19. Click the subject field and choose New Submitted Form in Cloud Form and choose the Title.
  20. Click the body field and write the message.
  21. Click the Continue button.
  22. Please make sure that the submission data is a test data before testing this Gmail send action. Click the Test Action button.
  23. Click the 'Publish Zap' button.
  24. Click the 'Publish & Turn On' button.
With this integration, every time someone submits a feedback form on my summer camp form, the person gets a personalized reply.
