returns the number of days in the year in which date lies.
DAYSINYEAR("2012-02-14")
returns 366, the number of days in 2012 (2012 is a leap year).
Employee Vacation Accrual
A company, "Globex Corp.," offers a vacation benefit where employees accrue a certain number of vacation hours per day. The daily accrual rate is calculated by dividing the total annual vacation hours by the number of days in the year.
