Thermal & Airflow Impact Study: CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) model or cooling assessment for high-density rack clusters exceeding facility baseline kW limits per rack.
Pre-Approved Access List (Badging & COI): List of all installation technicians requiring facility security access, accompanied by background checks per data center policy.
Certificates of Insurance (COI): COI for GC and sub-contractors naming Landlord and Data Center Operator as Additional Insureds (Minimum limits: $5,000,000 Commercial General Liability, $1,000,000 Auto, Workers’ Comp per statutory limits).

Raised-Floor Tile & Weight Management
Contractor must use spreading plates when rolling heavy equipment across raised access tiles. Tiles must not be left open unattended, and tile cutouts for cable drops must use approved brush-grommet seals to maintain floor plenum pressure.
Hot / Cold Aisle Containment & Thermal Controls
All containment structures (blanking panels, roof tiles, strip doors) must meet strict fire rating standards (UL94-V0). Airflow short-circuiting must be prevented, and unused rack units must remain fitted with blanking panels.
Dust, Debris & Unboxing Regulations
Cardboard, wooden pallets, and packing foam are strictly prohibited inside the white space / data hall. All equipment must be unboxed in designated external staging areas prior to entering the server floor. Vacuuming must utilize HEPA-filtered cleanroom units.
Critical Power & EPO Protection
Tying into live PDU panels or busways requires an approved Method of Procedure (MOP) and 72 hours' advance notice. Emergency Power Off (EPO) switches must be covered and guarded during all work to prevent accidental facility shutdowns.
As-Built Submissions & Cable Certification Reports
Tenant and Contractor commit to delivering final CAD/PDF "As-Built" drawings, complete cable test/certification results, and updated rack elevation schematics within thirty (30) calendar days of commissioning.
